Yes, He is back. First match since June 30, he competes in the Orleans Challenger, a small tournament on the circuit’s fringes. Having skipped every major tournament for over 70 days (including the US Open) and bypassing the Olympics, Marcos has slid into ATP ranking obscurity. He is currently forty something in the world, which seeds him second in this tournament. It is not the first time he attends here either; whilst still an unknown , in 2005 he reached the quarterfinals.

I live in Beijing and the 2008 China Open has just started today, I can see no mention of him playing here this year, do you know if he is or not.....I'm gonna be really upset if he isn't!!
No, he's skipping Beijing... No surprises there.
I had kind of worked out that he wasn't playing here now, such a shame, he is keeping himself pretty quiet at the moment, not much sign of him anywhere, I did see he was playing a smaller tournament somewhere, but can't remember where, and that he's ranking 40 in the ATP, is that right?
He's on the roster at Metz this week. However judging by his past record that means jack shit. He might decide to drop out at the last minute.
